On Jan. 1, Inomedic Health Applications Inc. (IHA) transitioned as the Hanford site occupational medical services provider, bringing a new leadership team and a new management approach based on our extensive corporate experience.

IHA is a woman-owned small business specializing in health and wellness services for federal, state and commercial clients. Founded in 1994, IHA has built a reputation for providing quality management of integrated occupational medicine and environmental health services programs.

The IHA team at Hanford includes two corporate partners: AnovaWorks and JES Tech.

AnovaWorks brings local experience, having provided occupational health care in Washington state for more than 20 years, including services to the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) workforce.

JES Tech is a woman-owned small business with 20 years of experience in employee assistance programs and case management for the federal workforce.

Who we serve

IHA provides the occupational medical services to an estimated 9,000-person workforce at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Hanford site. The workforce includes employees from DOE and One Hanford contractors, including Washington River Protection Solutions, Central Plateau Cleanup Company, Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, ATL-Navarro, as well as several subcontractor organizations.

DOE and our One Hanford contractor teammates are committed to worker health and safety, which is also IHA’s first priority. IHA is an advocate for workers’ health and well-being, and is very familiar with the Hanford working environment and any potential effects on worker health and well-being. We provide a customer-service oriented program that is seen as best in class.

Specific examples of the programs provided in support of those priorities include the Beryllium Medical Surveillance Program, Employee Assistance Program, Health and Wellness Education, Hearing Conservation Program, and supporting the Human Reliability Program and Protective Force Personnel.

Who we are

IHA maintains around 90 employees in support of our Hanford mission, most of whom have served Hanford in their current positions for years and are local to the Tri-Cities community.

The IHA team is passionate about the work we provide, and proud of our ability to make a difference for the safety and health of the Hanford workforce.

We offer professional services in all areas supporting occupational health, including front office, scheduling, medical assistants, registered nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physicians, exercise physiologists, industrial rehabilitation and ergonomic specialists, counselors, psychologists, quality care management, privacy, records, procurement, and supply chain, as well as administrative and leadership support.

With knowledge of the local community, expertise in health care, and experience with contract management, IHA leadership is perfectly suited to provide excellent occupational medical services to the Hanford workforce.

Our first year

IHA understands that individual customer satisfaction is an essential element of high quality, patient-centered care.

As we begin our journey as part of the One Hanford team, we are excited to bring our health care services to Hanford, instituting best practices from accrediting bodies and leading a passionate team that is proud to serve our Hanford workforce.

We look forward to bringing our new perspective in partnering with the other contractors to continuously improve services, the patient experience, and the on-site clinic environment as we support the One Hanford team and mission.
