Communications and entertainment provider FLOW Jamaica recently staged the flagship launch of its Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Poster Campaign, an initiative which it notes marked a significant step forward in its commitment to fostering a safe and healthy workplace environment for staff and customers.

The posters highlight key emergency protocols and procedures, environmental sustainability efforts, and are designed to educate and inspire individuals to adopt healthy habits and adhere to safety practices, a company release notes.

“Äs a responsible corporate citizen, we recognise the importance of promoting preventive measures to safeguard the health of our customers and the public. Health, safety, and environment management is an integral part of our business performance, and we are committed to ensuring – so far as is reasonably practicable – the health, safety and welfare of our employees, contractors, customers, stakeholders, and the communities in which we live and work,” stated Stephen Price, VP & general manager, as he referenced parent company Liberty Latin America’s safety policy.

Price further charged employees, “Let’s look out for one another, remind each other of safety protocols when necessary, and actively contribute to creating a culture of safety and well-being in our work environment.”

The launch event also included talks and demonstrations from health and safety partners: Sagicor; The Jamaica Fire Brigade; Jamaica Constabulary Force; Jamaica Red Cross; National Safety Limited; physiotherapist Demoy Henry, and psychologist Naedene Palmer.

The posters are prominently and strategically displayed in FLOW’s corporate offices, technical areas and retail stores.

Late last year, the company also launched its Employee Health and Wellness Campiagn to enhance the well-being of employees by creating an environment that supports wholesome lifestyle choices and provides opportunities, tools, and resources to help them become full partners in managing their health.
