MORGANTOWN, Ky. (WBKO) – CASCO Products Corporation is hosting a variety of events next week for the company’s ‘We Care’ Health and Safety Week.
The event is the first of its kind at the facility.
Starting on Monday, those who work at the company will participate in several different safety trainings, demonstrations, and learning about overall safety both at and outside of it.
“We’re doing games, we’re doing safety feud, safety bingo, and other things throughout the week,” said CASCO Operational Excellence Manager, April Graham.
Those who work at CASCO will also get the chance to go through intruder training with the Kentucky State Police.
“That is going to be a training that we will share in the future and make our own training tools for the team members within the facility,” Graham said. “As everyone knows, intruder training has become a norm or a need for facilities; for business.”
On Thursday, the company will open its doors to the community through a blood drive.
“You can just come through the main entrance and we will be able to direct you into the blood drop area which is right off from the front lobby,” Graham said. “We are hoping that everyone comes out and supports the blood drive. It’s very important, I think, for this time of the year to support the American Red Cross and try to help build up the blood banks in the local community.”
Lastly, there will also be an event on Friday from noon to 4 p.m. where you will be able to meet the local fire department, and police department, see an ambulance, and visit with other health and safety organizations.
